Children’s Reductions

• All reductions and dates are subject to availability and may change at any time.
• Where FREE child or reduced price places are advertised, these are strictly limited and available on a first come, first served basis on selected flights. Maximum 1 FREE child per booking. Maximum 2 reduced child places per booking.
• ‘Adults’ include any children older than the maximum ‘child’ age which is stated.
• Up to date reductions will be confirmed at the time of booking.
• Child reductions apply on the basic holiday price only and do not include any supplements, e.g. underoccupancy, any flight, room and board arrangements (where applicable), etc. In all European apartments, studios and children paying a special reduced price holiday do not qualify as full fare paying passengers and as such do not count towards the occupancy, or qualify for group reductions.
• Child offers and holiday reductions apply to children aged 2-11 years for hotels and 2-15 years for European self catering apartments, at the date of return travel to UK. Proof of age is required at the time of booking
• To qualify for a special offer or price reduction, the child or children must share a room (or apartment/studio) with 2 full fare paying passengers except where stated.
• All child prices and reductions apply to European charter flight and Self-Drive holidays only. For European scheduled flights, child reductions, apply as per table “European Kids’ Value Prices”.
• For Self-Drive holidays, children count towards occupancy of the car for any ferry supplements but are not entitled to the Self-Drive reduction.
• All free or reduced price places are on the basic holiday cost only. Any flight, room and board supplements (where applicable), nanny service charges etc., are payable in full
• Infants are classified as children aged under 2 years old on the date of return travel. Infants do not receive a seat on the flight, train or transfer coach but seats can be requested and a supplement payable. There is an infant charge of £39 each with direct payment to the hotel or accommodation owner for any food/hire of cot etc.

Group Bookings

To qualify for your FREE group places the following conditions must apply:

• FREE places are available on 7 day charter flights to Europe.
• The party size is determined by the number of full fare paying passengers.
• Supplements, insurance and excursions are not included.
• Group must book for the same date, duration and resort.
• Only 1 FREE child place is allowed per group.
• The FREE places given will apply to the lowest priced holiday.
• Additional passengers booking at a later date cannot alter the original group discount.
• Reductions in group size will have FREE places reduced accordingly. Group places may be lost if all conditions are not complied with.
• All passengers must pay full deposit, regardless of FREE places. Deposits on FREE places will be credited once final payment has been made.
• If the group size increases after booking we cannot alter the original group discount.
• Two children who receive a percentage discounted price holiday will be counted as one full paying passenger in a group.
• Group FREE Places cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer advertised.
• Names should be supplied at least 10 weeks before departure or by agreement by the Thomson Reservations Team, except for scheduled flights which require all names at time of booking. A name change after this will incur an amendment fee – see ‘Your Agreement With Us.
• An administration charge will be levied for pre-booking additional overseas facilities.
• Group reductions do not apply to European scheduled flights.
• Your travel agent should book holidays for groups of 8-9 on Viewdata as usual and then phone or fax our Thomson Groups department to claim your discount. Your travel agent will contact our Groups Department if your group size is greater than 9 people.
• All other special offers including No Single Room Supplements are limited.
• All members of the group must have adequate holiday insurance and the lead name on the booking must ensure this is the case.

The following conditions apply to any refund of up to 50% of the cost of a resort visit by a group leader prior to a group confirming a visit to said resort:

• Excludes holidays departing 28th May 2011 and 20st July-23th August 201.
• Discount applies to holiday cost only and does not include insurance or excursions.
• Maximum discount £400.
• Refund will be made on return from your Group holiday.
• Only valid on 7 night European package holidays using charter flights.
• Booking reference from 'exploration holiday' needs to be supplied at the time of booking the group.
• Subject to availability and change.
