    Getting about

    Once in Zermatt there is so much to see and do, it's unlikely you will want to venture down the valley. Zermatt has an excellent network of cable cars and mountain railways. The Peak Pass is great for walkers and those who want unlimited access to Zermatt's lift system.

    By rail

    Fly to either Geneva or Zurich and enjoy beautiful landscapes to get to your end destination, Zermatt. From Geneva you travel through the Lavaux vineyards on the side of lake Geneva. From Zurich, if time permits, why not stop off in Berne and explore this UNESCO World Heritage city. From the town of Visp you'll change onto the mountain railway and enjoy plunging valleys and waterfalls as the train climbs its way up to Zermatt.
