Walking
There is plenty on offer for walkers in Zermatt with over 400 kilometres of sign-posted walking trails. The trails will take you through pine scented forests, over mountain streams, around high altitude lakes and across alpine meadows. As well as just setting off from Zermatt, you can use the mountain railways and cable cars to access some of the many fantastic walks on offer.
