Getting About
There is a comprehensive network of trains and buses so it is really easy to get around as part of a walk or excursion. The Swiss Card gives discounts on these journeys or alternatively the Jungfraubahnen pass gives ulimited travel in the region (excluding Schilthorn and Schilthorn).
Strollers
This widely varied walking area provides a range of gentle walks, especially around the picturesque villages of Grindelwald, Wengen and Mürren.
Ramblers
The route from Männlichen, between Grindelwald and Wengen, to Kleine Scheidegg and the foot of the famous Eiger North Face offers splendid panoramas. All paths are carefully marked with approximate walking times.
Hikers
Do not miss the Glacier Gorge beneath Grindelwald's lower glacier. Many wonderful walks lead back to Grindelwald from the First Gondola.
