Swiss Resort Transfers
Transfer to your Swiss resort will be by train, sometimes including a boat or bus journey too. If you haven't already experienced Swiss Rail then you are in for a treat. Not only are they as punctual as a Swiss watch, but you can sit back in comfort to enjoy the magnificent scenery with washroom facilities on board. You can upgrade to 1st class travel for extra comfort.
Included for all guests this card is worth over £60. Use it to get a 50% reduction on first and second class travel on most of the Swiss transport network. So during your holiday you can book unlimited half price excursions and explore the surrounding villages for half the price! Children under 16yrs travel FREE
Save money on your family holiday with all children under 16yrs travelling FREE on the Swiss rail network. All you need to do is advise us at time of booking and we will provide a Family Card, allowing your children to travel FREE with you throughout your holiday. Children must travel with at least one parent at all times. For children travelling with Grandparents a Grandchild Travelcard can be purchased for CHF30 once you are in Switzerland. Your luggage can be transported directly from your UK airport to your resort by booking Swiss Fly Rail luggage vouchers for a supplement of £14 each way.
Please note: There is no rep on arrival at the airport but you will receive a pre-departure call from your rep to answer any questions. A full itinerary will be sent with your tickets and a Thomson rep will be on-hand in the resorts of Interlaken & Zermatt (not Davos or on train journeys). It is necessary to change trains on some of the rail transfers between resorts.
Swiss Pass
The SWISS PASS offers UNLIMITED travel on all trains, buses and boats for the duration of the pass (25-50% reduction on mountain-top trains and cable cars). If you are planning to get out and about during your holiday then this is the card for you.
Please note: The Swiss Pass will cover your transfer to and from the airport so you do not need a transfer ticket - (£50 reduction per person will be applied to your holiday ). You must book a pass to cover full duration of your stay eg. 7 night holidays need 8 day pass.
