Kandersteg holidays

Kandersteg

Kandersteg is situated at the head of the breathtaking Kander valley, formed thousands of years ago by the movement of glaciers. This pretty, traditional and friendly village is set amidst lush alpine meadows with spectacular mountains climbing up around. The Blüemlisalp mountain range guarantees fantastic views in all directions and the sound of waterfalls cascading down the cliffs of the 'U' shaped valley is more likely to be heard than the sound of any car engines.
