Walking
With over 500kms of marked trails in the Jungfrau region alone, there are many opportunities for all abilities of walker. Enjoy lakeside strolls around either of Interlaken's lakes, Brienz is good for waterfalls and Thun has castles to explore.
For keen walkers there is a good day route if you take the train up to Grindelwald and then the cable car to First. From First take the route to Lake Bachalpsee, pass along the ridge top path with stunning views over Lake Brienz and down to the Schynigge Platte. From Schynige you could either take the train down to Interlaken or if your legs want more, there's a sign posted trail.
