During the summer months there are regular folklore and musical events giving you the chance to experience some of the true culture of Switzerland. From the village there are some wonderful walks along the lakeside. The magnificent Giesbach waterfalls are close by, accessible either by boat or a pleasant round trip walk. The centre of Interlaken is a 30 minute bus ride away or you can take the ferry from directly outside the hotel.
