Both villages are lively and colourful with flower decked chalets, cafés, restaurants and shops. There is a huge range of activities and places to visit, including Europe's highest railway station and the Jungfrau UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site.

Getting about
There is a comprehensive network of trains and buses so it is really easy to get around as part of a walk or excursion. The Swiss Card gives discounts on these journeys or alternatively the Jungfraubahnen pass gives unlimited travel in the region (excluding Jungfraujoch and Schilthorn).
