Festivals & Events - In the summer months there are numerous events, ranging from village festivals to religious holidays in the Bled area. The spectacular display of  thousands of egg shell candles on the lake in the 'Rikli's festival' (held on the 3rd weekend in July) is unmissable. Also, throughout July the Bled International Music Festival is held.

Weddings - Exchange your vows in a lakeside registry office then take a Pletna (local gondola) to the island and receive an official blessing in the church of St.Mary. Stay in either the impressive Grand Hotel Toplice or the modern lakeside Hotel Park. See page 16 for more details.
