Walking
Walking in Kranjska Gora is as varied as it is spectacular. At the foot of the Julian Alps you are on the edge of the Triglav National Park with its lush green forests, lakes and waterfalls. The most popular walks in the area are numbered 1-20 with a map available from the tourist office. We also have a Thomson walking escort in resort offering an introductory walk to help you find your bearings and at least two other hikes throughout the week. Not only do they know the best trails but they can point you in the direction of the best picnic spots and viewing platforms, or help you plan a route of your own.
