Resort Information

Prazeres is on the south west coast of the island, perched high on the cliff tops. Cliff paths take you down to the shore, where you will find the small fishing villages of Paúl do Mar and Jardim do Mar. You may also spot some surfers enjoying the crashing waves. The village of Prazeres is small and centered around the church but you will find most things you need at your hotel, including a minimarket. Walking from the north of the village takes you into beautiful National Park mountains with many walking trails to explore. You can also walk along the coastal cliff tops both east and west for some amazing views. The hotel has a book with maps and walk descriptions so all you need to do is choose your walk, take a copy and off you go!
