Getting About
The best way to explore Venice's winding alleyways is by foot. But there are many 'vaporetti', water buses, that run along the Grand Canal and also out to the fascinating islands of the Venetian Lagoon.

Twin Centre Suggestion
Venice can be combined with the nearby beach resort of Lido di Jesolo, one of the mountains resorts, any resort on Lake Garda or Lake Maggiore or Lake Como. Transfer to your second centre by coach or minibus which may be via Verona airport. See pages 8 and 149.
