Resort Information
Montecatini enjoys that unique Tuscan atmosphere laced with an elegant, cosmopolitan touch. The centre of the town is dominated by the ornate spa buildings dating from the turn of the century and set in beautiful gardens, whilst the side streets are full of restaurants and trattorias serving authentic Tuscan cuisine and wines. There are great shops here too and wonderful views of the countryside can be enjoyed from Montecatini Alto, reached by funicular railway. Montecatini is the perfect place to relax, soak up the atmosphere or spoil yourself with some spa treatments but it's also a great base for exploring more of Tuscany.
