Lazise is one of the most picturesque resorts on Lake Garda with a rich history and lots of typical Italian charm. Surrounded by ancient walls, the town is dominated by the magnificent 14th century castle. Life revolves around the beautiful medieval square, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, and lots of cafes, bars and restaurants line the streets around the little port. There are plenty of shops of all sorts here; from handicrafts and local produce to the most famous of Italian brand names. Lazise is also very well placed for access to Gardaland and the Canevaworld water park.

Getting about
There is a ferry service stopping at most resorts in Lake Garda. A bus service runs along the east coast of the Lake and a train service operates from Peschiera.
