Getting About
There are lake ferries to Baveno and Stresa and the Borromean Islands. Many buses can be caught from the main Verbania station. There is also a cable car and a mountain railway station in the local area.
Strollers
Pick up leaflets on Trekking and Nature Hikes from the Tourist Office for walks for all levels up and around the Mottarone mountain in Stresa. In Baveno try more challenging walks to towns such as Oltrefiume.
