Resort Information

With a higher density of art per square foot than any other place on earth, the stunning city of Florence is a glorious treasure trove of history and culture. The works of Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Botticelli are on display at the Uffizi Gallery and you will be utterly dazzled by this sparkling jewel in Tuscany's crown. Built on the banks of the river Arno, the centre of Florence is small enough to visit on foot and all the famous sights are within easy reach of our hotels.

Our Opinion

· Stroll across the Arno, browsing the shops on the historic Ponte Vecchio · Relax at a bar in evocative Piazza Signoria and absorb the buzzing atmosphere · Marvel at the splendid Renaissance architecture of the Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore · Explore the cobbled, traffic-free streets of Florence's cultural centre

Facilities

· train station with connections to Pisa, Montecatini and, further afield, Rome · shops · supermarkets · post office · banks · pharmacies · doctors

Getting About

The historic centre of Florence is very compact and the only way to see it is by foot. The main points of interest, such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery and the Duomo are in the centre.

Twin Centre Suggestion

Florence can be combined with any resort served by Verona airport.
After a busy few days sightseeing in Florence what could be better than bathing in the warm thermal waters of Sirmione, a spa resort on the shores of Lake Garda. The 4T Hotel Strozzi Palace in Florence can be combined with the 4T Hotel Sirmione in Sirmione.
