Getting about

Ruhpolding has a local bus service and railway station. The bus takes you to the starting point of the majority of hikes in the Ruhpolding valley. Great value train tickets are available (unlimited travel at weekends for up to 5 people - approx. £20) and children up to & incl. 14 yrs travel free. There are also two summer lifts in the area - the Unterberg chair lift and the Rauschberg cable car.
