Seefeld

Walking

Walking in the Olympiaregion Seefeld can be as easy or difficult as you want to make it, with around 650km of trails choose from lakeside walks to high alpine trails. Discover three of Seefeld’s sparkling lakes as you wander through forest, meadows and alpine pasture to finish at Wildmoos Lake. For the more active and energetic, don't miss a hike up to the eastern summit of the unusually shaped Hohe Munde, which towers over the resort and offers gorgeous views of the 16km long Leutaschtal Valley. An afternoon in Seefeld isn’t complete without a ride on the Rosshütte funicular, walking back into resort along a forest track. The tourist offices in Seefeld and the surrounding area run an excellent weekly walking programme. All walks in this superb programme are led by a qualified mountain guide, cost is from approx. £8 per person per day.
