Walking
Kitzbühel's a true walker's paradise with over 1000km of well-marked hiking trails ranging from the energetic climb to the top of the Kitzbüheler Horn to the more gentle amble to Lake Schwarzsee. From the mountain village of Jochberg there's an easy walk to the impressive Sintersbach waterfall and at Hintenbachalm, you can follow a nature trail, showcasing the flora and fauna of the region. Strollers
There are many easy, well marked valley walks to the Schwarzsee in Kitzbühel or in reverse to nearby Kirchberg and Aschau.
Ramblers
The Hahnenkamm gondola accesses many fabulous walks including the Panorama Loop Trail which offers magnificent views of the Wilder Kaiser mountains or the Hahnenkamm ridge walk. From Kirchberg take the Gaisberg lift up to 1200m and follow the route to the Kobingerhütte for superb views.
Hikers
The Grosser Rettenstein, a well known landmark, can be scaled in a day. The Kitzbüheler Horn also provides strenuous paths to St. Johann and Aurach.
