Strollers
It is a pleasant 1 hour walk along the valley between Ellmau and Scheffau, stroll around Ellmau's golf course or walk to the village of Going.
Ramblers
There is a superb selection of walks starting from Ellmau. Either use the lifts to gain ground on the Bergwelt or venture on to the more rugged terrain of the Wilder Kaiser. You can buy a 7 day Bergwelt walkers' pass locally giving you unlimited use of the lifts for approx. £41.
Hikers
There are plenty of hikes over the terrain of the Wilder Kaiser.
