The picture postcard resort of Ellmau is the ideal place for first time visitors to the Tirol region of Austria, with a picturesque setting, sheltered by the awesome Wilder Kaiser mountains. The charming village centre has attractive shops and cafés to stroll around and in the summer months there are regular evening festivals, when the centre comes alive with traditional music, craft and food stalls. There are great transport links around the area as well as plenty of walking opportunities.

Getting about
There is a regular bus service to St. Johann and Söll, whilst the FREE "Kaiserjet" shuttle service connects Ellmau with the neighbouring villages of Scheffau, Going and Söll.
