The Austrian Adventure is based in the historic Tirolean village of Kitzbühel in the heart of the spectacular Kitzbüheler Alps. The colourful town centre offers a wealth of modern shops, quaint cafés and lively bars and there's plenty to amuse you around the area, including the nearby Schwarzsee, a strikingly beautiful mountain lake or the fabulous Alpine flower garden, at the top of the Kitzbühelerhorn.

You can choose to stay at the Hotel Edelweiss or the Hotel Jägerwirt for 7, 10/11 or 14 nights.

Activity highlights:

Gentle River rafting with barbecue
A beautiful day out for the whole family on the Tiroler Ache river. From nearby Kirchdorf (20 mins, transfer included), you'll travel through wildly romantic scenery to Schleching in Germany with a break along the way for a barbecue on the river bank. Your friendly, qualified rafting guide will be with you throughout the day to ensure that you are safely equipped (with helmet and life jackets) and to give you training on land before you take to the river. Requirements: Swimming; Minimum age: 6yrs. Duration: Half day.. Level: Gentle.
What to bring: Comfortable clothing, towel, sandals and change of clothes.

High Rope Course: This high rope adventure course includes a variety of abseiling techniques, flying foxes, climbing walls up to 24m and rope swings, all safely secured between the huge forest trees. A great experience for the whole family, a qualified guide and safety harness are provided at all times. Minimum age: 6yrs. Duration: Half day.
What to bring: Comfortable clothes, good walking shoes and a towel.
